WHO'S WRITINGAbout Striker
Striker is a real Search and Rescue pilot. He's also a dad with young kids at home, which is where these letters actually started.
He was the kid who looked up. Nobody ever wrote to him about it. So when he started flying real missions, he began writing them down for his own children to read when they're older: what the weather did, what the ocean looked like in the dark, what it feels like to make a hard call with people counting on you.
Then it occurred to him that other kids might want to read them too.
Fly safe, study hard, and always look up.
