Mission FAQs
If your question isn’t covered in this briefing, transmit your inquiry to the ground crew at penpalpilot@pm.me and we will get back to you.
-
All missions are cleared for takeoff no later than the 15th of every month.
Domestic Crew: Expect arrival within 3–8 business days.
International Crew: Custom flight plans are handled via email; please contact penpalpilot@pm.me
-
Simply transmit an email to penpalpilots@pm.me and our ground crew will update your flight plan or end your subscription immediately. To ensure your next letter reaches the correct coordinates, please submit all changes before the 1st of the month.
-
If you sign up before the 1st, you will recieve the previous month’s letter. If you sign up after the 1st, your first letter will arrive the following month (e.g., sign up before March 1 to recieve February’s letter).
-
If your envelope doesn't arrive, email us and we will initiate a search and rescue. We will either re-deploy a fresh dispatch or provide a full refund for the month. We monitor USPS closely, but if a letter bounces back to our HQ, we will hold it until the end of the month and re-attempt delivery once we verify your coordinates
-
We currently only ship letters domestically to coordinates serviceable by a standard USPS stamp. For international aviators interested in signing up, please send an email to penpalpilot@pm.me to discuss custom delivery options.
What is a Snail Mail Flight Club?
A snail mail flight club is a monthly mission delivered directly to your hangar (mailbox).
Unlike digital briefings that get lost in your inbox, Pen Pal Pilots provides a tangible, "stick and rudder" experience you can hold in your hands.
Each envelope is a tactical reprieve from the digital world, designed to bring the grit and spirit of the flight deck into your home through authentic stories and aviation artifacts.
